New Feature On Google Mail: Import Mail & Contacts

Hope you would have noticed on GMail that there is a new link along with New Priority Inbox. Yes you are correct i.e. Import Mails & contacts. This is a new feature Google has introduced recently.

When you click on this new link it will take you to the page Settings, where you can import all your contacts, not only contacts even messages from other mail boxes. It is not limited to your Google Mail alone and also from Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, or other webmail or POP3 accounts.


Importing contacts is not strange for us, since this type of feature is available on all mail providers and social networking sites. But here we have to observe the new feature of importing email messages from other mailboxes, that too other than Google.
