The contract value amounts to 30 million EUR for 4 years
NXP, the independent semiconductor company founded by Philips, has awarded a contract to Atos Origin to manage its global workplaces worldwide. Some 16,000 seats will be managed remotely using Atos Origin's key solution 'Adaptive Workplace' in order to respond to NXP's strategy to realize a uniform desktop design worldwide and generate cost savings. The contract value amounts to 30 million EUR and runs for 4 years.
As part of this new contract, Atos Origin will manage NXP's workplace worldwide. All 16,000 seats, of which some 1,800 are in Asia-Pacific, will be managed by Atos Origin. The work contains a high degree of complexity as it involves a large variety of different systems and geographic locations that need to be migrated to one single solution. Atos Origin and NXP will work with jointly agreed key performance indicators including systems availability, continuous service, cost reductions and output performance levels. This indicates the strategic importance to NXP and high level of confidence that Atos Origin holds to perform according to set targets.
