Three-year, $14 million contract with Railinc to provide information technology infrastructure services
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has signed a three-year, $14 million contract with Railinc, an information technology provider for railway companies. Dallas-based ACS said the contract extends a long-term relationship in which it will provide Railinc with information technology infrastructure services.
"ACS has been a trusted partner while being flexible and responsive to our evolving business priorities," said Todd Bolon, vice president and chief information officer for Railinc. "This enables Railinc to focus on creating value for our customers by providing innovative and reliable information-based products and services." ACS says that under the terms of the agreement the company will provide Cary, N.C.-based Railinc with network operational services and mainframe system operations services from its data centers.
