Channel Four seeks significant cost reductions and make better use of the its existing Oracle-supplied systems
Channel Four has outsourced its human resources (HR) administration to Logica in a bid to further reduce operational spending.
Over a five-year period, the supplier will work on projects such as the migration of a payroll system it currently provides to Channel Four onto new software, to be integrated with an existing HR platform - both provided by Oracle.
Logica will also manage approximately 25 of Channel Four's transactional HR processes, such as joiners and leavers, employee changes and absence administration.
The broadcaster is seeking to make significant cost reductions, so another attraction of the deal was the ability to make better use of the its existing investment in Oracle-supplied systems.
