ACS to provide fiscal agent and enrolment services for Commonwealth's Medicaid Management Information System
Affiliated Computer Services Inc, a provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, on Wednesday (6 May) announced that the company has been awarded a five-year, USD84m contract with the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), Virginia, US, to manage its Medicaid programme.
Under the terms of the contract ACS will provide fiscal agent and enrolment services for the Commonwealth's Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
The contract includes a 14-month transition and solutions enhancement period followed by four base years of operations. In addition, four optional one-year extensions allow for a potential nine-year contract term.
