Well that’s a bit away from the timeframe that several other leaks have suggested. Motorola co-chief Sanjay Jha at the Deutsche Bank Technology Conference yesterday told that they will hopefully be ready with a compelling Android tablet early next year, reported AFP.
Considering the Google’ latest statement regarding the readiness of Android as the tablet OS, it’s better for Motorola to wait and come up with more tablet friendlier Android version.
“I see the tablet market as an opportunity; no cannibalization with smartphones, iPad is more an extension of iPhone than a migration of a Macintosh. I think that is a natural expansion for us”This Motorola Android tablet, which has been codenamed Stingray, is supposedly coming packed with nVidia Tegra 2 processor, Android 3.0, 10.1 inch display, front and back cameras, and FiOS enabled. Stingray will be sold on Verizon in US.
