HTC Lexikon Specifications & Price

HTC has been a recognized name in the mobile industry. They have been known for providing a customer experience that mainly focused on putting people at the center by making their phones work in a more simple, natural and personal way. And just recently, HTC has been rumored to be coming up with a new HTC device called the HTC Lexikon.

The HTC Lexikon is one of the fourteen upcoming devices from HTC that has leaked over some gadget websites. We first heard of this upcoming device just over a month ago. It has leaked in the internet together with another upcoming HTC mobile phone called the HTC Bee. This upcoming mobile phone is rumored to run an Android 2.2 OS and also comes with a slide-out keyboard. The Lexicon will be heading our way through Verizon Wireless sometime later this year or early next year.

The latest specifications of the HTC Lexicon that leaked lately are rumored to include the following:

• Sports a 3.8-inch WVGA display multi-touch screen with a resolution of 480×800
• 512MB of RAM
• 4 GB ( eMMC) internal storage
• Powered by MSM7630 Snapdragon processor clocked at 800MHz
• Comes with a 5 megapixel camera
• HTC Sense 1.6
• Comes with a full QWERTY keyboard
• Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
• Bluetooth connectivity

It seems that the specifications of the HTC Lexikon as mentioned above are just average. The looks of the HTC Lexikon definitely does not have any resemblance to T-Mobile's G2 in any way, but the specs has certain similarities. Its processor looks to be in the same category as the upcoming T-Mobile G2. Basically, only the 3.8-inch screen seems to be the real difference between the hardware of the G2 and HTC Lexikon. So it appears that the Lexikon will be Verizon's own version of the T-Mobile's G2.

As already mentioned, this upcoming phone is rumored to be launched if not later this year; it will be early next year. The final name of this upcoming phone is also expected to be different upon its launch. As of now only limited information are available regarding this phone, release date as well as the price of this upcoming phone remains to be unknown.
