Wipro to recruit 1,200 for Hyderabad BPO centre

The company says that its BPO operations had not been adversely affected by the current recession and is planning to expand its employee base in Hyderabad

 

Wipro Technologies plans to recruit at least 1,200 employees for its BPO centre in Hyderabad over the next six months or so, according to the Vice-President (talent acquisition), E.V.S. Saibabu.

 

He told reporters in Andhra University here on Monday that the company's BPO operations had not been adversely affected by the current recession and it was planning to expand its employee base in Hyderabad. Currently, he said, more than 3,000 were employed in the Hyderabad office.
