Tieto delivers an intranet to the largest hypermarket retail chainto originate in Russia

The new net intranet portal is based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS)

 

Russian hypermarket retail chain Lenta has officially launched its new intranet portal. It's based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) and delivered by Tieto. Lenta is the 3rd largest hypermarket retail chain in Russia and the largest of Russian origin. It operates 34 complexes throughout the country.

 

When Lenta decided to modernize its intranet portal, Microsoft Russia recommended Tieto as a trusted MOSS developer. The choice was in line with Lenta's strategy of working with market leaders like Microsoft, SAP, IBM - and now Tieto.

 

Tieto consultants from Finland and the Czech Republic developed the functional and graphic design of Lenta's new portal. The implementation was performed by a local Russian-Belarusian team. This project is a great example of the Tieto Global Delivery Model in action and the results exceeded customer expectations.
