bloggin-tipsDo you have your own blog. Then surely You would have written about some topic and posted it on your blog. Then go to google.com and search for the topic that you have posted on your blog. Did you find your blog on the first page Google Search result?? If you have found then you are right track of making your blog successful. Every blogger on Blogosphere wants his blog to be in first page of Google Search results. How many bloggers succeeded to make it. As a blogger with own experiences and information collected from different bloggers, here I am posting bunch of blogging tips for beginners.

  • Content is The King : The first tip for any blog increase the blog traffic write unique content, which is new to the internet world.Write about the incidents happening around the world. After posting immediately tweet it with Twitter, if you have, otherwise create one. Because even Google searches searches the twitter for real time data.

  • *Have the right name for your blog which is relevent to topic and content of your blog. Have the keywords related to your blog in META TAGS. Since the Google crawls the META TAGS of your blog or site.

  • Find the blogs which are at higher Google Page Rank and leave comments atleast 3 blogs everyday. Whenever you leave a comment ob blog it will create a backlink to your blog. This expedites the blog traffic and increases the Google Page Rank for your blog.

  • Write posts which will make readers intrest to know, like tell about the things which are new to this world explaining how the new invention will work. Provide information completely about the things which are new to the market world. If the information is useful surely it will be shared by the readers at all social networking sites like digg, facebook, twitter, del.icio.us, stumbleupon etc.,

  • Submit your blog search engines using Google Webmaster Tools and blog directories like Yahoo, Altavista, Technorati  etc., when your blog is updated with new post this these search engines and blog aggregators gets notification and will be published on search engines. This will ensure maximum traffic to your blog.

  • Get a good topic for your blog and start blogging about it. Like Marketing Online, Earning Money Online topics will create more traffic to your blog. Because these keywords are popular on internet, searched by number of users on the net.

  • Write something which passionates you. Some people like photography, some cooking, gardening, or some other. Collect the information like jokes, funny things and write about them or from net and write in your own way not as exact content as on other sites.

  • Write about the universal concept which is not soecific to particular region or group of people. If possible install a Translate plug-in. Because all the people don't know English in the world. This makes your blog as internationalized blog. This type of blogs attaract the readers from all over world.

  • Have a beautiful design template for your blog with light and soft colors. Don't install unnecessarty widgets in your blog which will cause slow loading of the page. Usually readers does not like if the page load is very slow. Immediately they will pass your blog or close. And dont add background images which reduces the fast loading of page.

  • If your blog is filled with more images, don't forget to add keywords that describes the image in the alt attribute of the image tag in HTML code. Because Google will not crawls the images. If you put the keywords of the image in alt attribute, Google bots will crawls the keywords and it will be indexed in Google search Engine.

  • Participate in discussions on related blogs. Start conversations on your own blog. Don’t just post about a story and leave it at that, engage your audience, ask questions and call to action. Leave open ended questions to readers, make them

  • Atleast write a post everyday for a year. This will make Google crawls very frequently and increases the Google Page Rank.

  • A great tip for generating traffic is off-line by including your url in all your off-line literature from business cards, letterheads, pamphlets, advertisements through in-store signage if applicable. I even have our website on my vehicle. Keep your blog in all your email signatures.

  • Read lots of other blogs. Leave trackbacks. Observe how they are wrting by thinking differently. Get the tips from them. Write your comments on their posts. Make sure your blog is optimized for search engines. Leverage social bookmarking sites like facebook, twitter, digg, etc.

  • Community. It’s single word but it is the most important one when it comes to blogosphere. The only “blog metric” that makes sense is the vibrant community of readers it has. Building a community around your blog will bring you increased traffic, but how do you start? The boilerplate response to building traffic is always “SEO, social networking sites, and commenting on blogs” but it can be simplified to “be part of a community”. The easiest way to seed your blog with an already existing community. But the only way to do that is to be part of the community yourself.

  • Squidoo Lenses are a good way to generate traffic. By using a lense, you can generate your own custom “community” of webpages, including someof the more popular pages in your “neighborhood.” Including your own

  • Some bloggers have good success writing articles and submitting them to EzineArticles. Articles that have been written from well-researched keyword phrases and accepted by EzineArticles tend to rank very high in Google for that search term. Placing anchor text in the footer of those articles so the reader can visit their relevant website has always increased my site traffic.

  • *I came upon some unexpected traffic when my blog popped up on some css design portals like www.cssmania.com and www.webcreme.com. If you can put some time into the concept behind and design for your blog, I’d recommend submitting your blog to a design portal not only for additional traffic but to build an additional community around your site.

  • *Participate in Yahoo Answers and LinkedIn Answers where you can demonstrate your expertise, get associated with relevant keywords and put your URL out there. Submit your RSS feed to bookmarking sites like dzone.com. I am getting more traffic from dzone for my java technology blog.

  • Be the first to write a post about the ‘Top Ten Blogs’ in your niche. The post will rank highly in any general search for blogs in your niche and other bloggers in your niche write about the post and link to it.

  • Don’t forget your archives. I just posted a roundup of all interviews I did over the past seven months. One of them generated a new link and a big traffic spike from a group of users that look like they will be loyal readers now.

  • Write something about controversial in contemporary world.. I don’t think it’s good to write something controversial just for the purpose of getting traffic necessarily (especially if it’s only for that purpose and you’re being disingenuous), but it works. Write your opinion whether it is correct or not, but it should not hurt any kind of people or society.

  • *Find the best blogs on your niche and contact the authors. Introduce yourself and send a link of your blog. This might help them to discover your blog, read it and possibly link to it.
